Venkateshwara Suprabhatam - ( with subtitles )
Venkateshwara, or the "embodiment of the infinite" is an interesting deity often worshipped in South India. Extremely ancient, Vishnu or Venkateshwara is the form known as Source. From his primordial form the entire universe springs forward with the help of Brahma the creator and Shiva the one who destroys in order for new creation to form. Yet nothing, not even Vishnu can exist without the energy of the Divine Feminine or Shakti as well.
This transcendentally mysterious power is located within the center of the heart.
Listening to these Sanksrit sounds literally cleans up and opens the heart. It helps to untie the deep knots in the heart that we create through our difficulties and our way of living. There is deep meaning and feeling with this chant, but it is more important to just listen to the sounds.
If one closes ones eyes and just focuses on the sounds emanating from the heart, a peculiar yet familiar purity, peace, love and joy begin to arise, even though one may not know the meaning. One can feel problems lifting and one can feel lighter and lighter from the heavy burden we carry.
Its a little hard to see and understand the photos, but the pictures show the deity as a black statue inlaid with gold. It is hard to see but the face is a black granite face that is smiling. The white covers his sleeping eyes because when he awakens the entire Universe begins to implode---(much like the big bang theory)---
The statue is the symbol of inconceivable Universal forces at play in the macrocosm that are infinite and yet they are located right within our heart as the microcosm
This is the power of the Sanksrit syllables.---they eventually allow us to merge back into that infinite Source--and there is tremendous potential healing power behind this interesting chant.
Or if one cannot sit still just walk around the room and let this short chant penetrate the heart.
One's perspective can permanently change just by hearing these sounds that were captured from the silence of the Universe hundreds of thousands of years ago by the ancient Yogis heard in deep meditation and brought forward for our benefit.
