The Mature Heart--Dr. Rama

The Mature Heart:  runs towards and embraces the one it loves on equal footing.  It does not play games with the heart of another.

The Mature Heart:  states what its needs are and how others make it feel.  It then calmly lets other hearts decide what they want to do or not, after expressing openly what the need is---it reaches out to those it knows loves them

The Mature Heart:  Understands the needs of others, especially those special to them in intimate ways.  It places itself into the other person's heart and feels what is going on there and helps to mirror healing and comfort back to that person who is pained by our actions or the actions of others in a way that other person can relate and understand.

The Mature Heart:  Does not belittle, exploit, make fun of, or judge others.  It realizes there are infinite variety of flowers and fruits in the world.  Is there anyone better than the other?

The Mature Heart:  seeks forgiveness and amends from others out of the burning desire to heal itself and to help heal others it hurt and injured

The Mature Heart:  forgives others but does not forget.  The other heart has to show by example that things are different and changed in a consistent way

The Mature Heart:  takes responsibility and does not recoil in shirking its obligations

The Mature Heart:  does not hide what it really feels.  There is no outer cover for such a heart.  What you see is what you get through its genuineness.

The Mature Heart:  does not show itself and then runs away, "skipping a beat all along..."  It stays to finish its tasks and obligations

The Mature Heart:  Seeks honest work and industry.  It wakes up to realize how dishonest activities only lead to more shadow and suffering for itself and for other hearts

The Mature Heart:  Solves its mystery by presenting itself to others in a straightforward and candid way

The Mature Heart: wakes up to realize when it is truly in love with another and cuts through the denial.  It stops trying to hide behind the mind which tries to create barriers between the love of two hearts in love
